ESOP Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS)

PFS

A Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS) is the Second Step

The PFS provides a comprehensive study of all the issues regarding installing an ESOP in your business, including its economic, corporate, cultural and legal viability. A PFS is the next, logical step once an ESOP Suitability Analysis has proven positive.

For a low, flat fee (all inclusive of time and travel expenses), an ABRC analyst will come to your business site to meet with owners, managers, accountant, CPA attorney (or other such advisors involved in your company’s viability) to gather operational and financial data. By taking this step to confirm ESOP feasibility in your particular environment, we drastically improve your chances of IRS approval of an ESOP. ABRC has a 100% success rate for IRS approval of ESOP applications.

Day 1: Morning

The analyst will spend his time on data gathering and interviews to determine your business objectives, for example: growth, exit or tax reduction.

Day 1: Afternoon

The analyst will review and analyze all the data gathered and prepare the report.

Day 2

The analyst will present his findings to management and any invited advisors. We will go over a 70-page bound feasibility report which will provide recommendations for implementation or, if your company does not qualify, actions required to prepare for such implementation.

ABRC will recommend an ESOP/SESOP installation only if the PFS can show a minimum of 300% return on your installation investment.
